Gaia Life Models are partners Dave & Nimi. Dave is an experienced life model (Thirsk Life Model) and Nimi is just starting but is a qualified creative artist (Nature art x moving image). Both of us are photographers, although Dave is by far the more experienced.
About
Gaia Life Models offer resource photographs for life drawing. We have divided them into sections e.g. single poses, double poses, body parts and unusual photos. We do not do sexual or erotic poses.
A standard class might consist of a couple of short poses and a couple of mid-length ones, followed by a break and then a longer pose for about 45 mins. However, you can make this your own class and adjust the timings to fit in with your style.
We would encourage you to try out different things - drawing yes, but why not try block printing, watercolour, collage, or air drying clay! Be experimental and see where it leads you. Have fun with it!
There is a private Facebook Group (Gaia Life Models Private Group) for subscribers only, please find us and join. If you use a different name on Facebook please let us know! Here you can ask questions, show your work, help others or just natter about anything art related.
